How to write a story (B1 - B2 - C1)
So as to make the story more attractive and easy to follow, make sure you organize the ideas in paragraphs. Remember that a story should have a beginning, a development and an end clearly identified.
You should use linking words to indicate how the action develops. Here you have some useful expressions:

After that; just then; afterwards; when; meanwhile; while that was happening; once (meaning after); just as; then; after some time...
